- Mi'ar (en arabe ميعار), était un village de Palestine mandataire situé à 17,5 km à l’est d’Acre. Il était appelé Myary à l’époque des croisades. Le village, un centre de la rébellion en 1936-1938, fut à ce titre dynamité et complètement détruit par les Britanniques. Il fut ensuite reconstruit, mais sa population fut chassée par les forces israéliennes pendant la guerre israélo-arabe de 1948. Plusieurs communautés juives, celles d’Atzmon, de Ya’ad et de Manof sont maintenant situées sur les terres du village. (fr)
