- Les langues tani, ou miriques, ou encore adi–galo–mishing–nishi (Bradley, 1997) ou abor–miri–dafla (Matisoff), sont un groupe de langues tibéto-birmanes parlée dans la partie orientale de l'Himalaya, dans une aire bordée par l'État indien de l'Assam, le Bhoutan la Birmanie et le Tibet. Les langues tani sont parlées par quelque 600 000 personnes dans l'État indien de l'Arunachal Pradesh like the (many tribes), , , , and of , , , , , and the districts of Arunachal Pradesh. In Arunachal Pradesh alone the Tani-speaking area covers some 40,000 square kilometers, or roughly half the size of the state. Scattered Tani communities spill over the Sino-Indian border into adjacent areas in ( and peoples), (Bokar and Tagin peoples), and counties of Tibet, where together with the non-Tani they form the Lhoba nationality.
