Au Suriname, on l'appelle Péra (Sranan tongo, Arawak), Amaapa*, Amaa-parjan, Akoema (Kali'na), Mappa* (Nenge tongo), Dokalli* (Aluku) (*= noms partagés avec Ambelania sagotii et ). (fr)
